Welcome to the Division of Hepatology, a progressive center of excellence dedicated to advances in laboratory and clinical science, state-of-the art clinical care, and the education of future leaders in liver diseases. The Division is renowned for its pioneers in fundamental research and we continue this tradition with our wide array of ongoing investigative studies, including translational research dedicated to improving the lives of patients with complex liver disease. The education and training of future leaders in our specialty has and always will be an integral part of our mission. The Division is comprised of eight Professors, four Associate Professors, three lecturers and three Assistant lecturers.Faculty members provide state-of-the-art clinical care at our multidisciplinary. Hepatology centerin all locations, trainees at all levels learn to care for patients with digestive and liver diseases. Mentorship and enthusiasm for innovative research and teaching by our faculty are key aspects of the success of our Division in preparing trainees for productive careers in basic or clinical research and novel pathways including device and systems innovation.
